This workshop was originally developed by Mark Wagner, Ph.D., President & CEO, EdTechTeam, Inc., and it has been revised for use at St. Peter Lutheran School in Hemlock, Michigan by Caleb Abraham.

By the end of the workshop, learners should be able to
  1. understand the read/write web.
  2. understand and explain how wikis work while demonstrating wiki skills.
  3. create an implementation plan for their own classroom and defend the use of wikis in their classroom.
  4. create a wiki for class use.

Note: This wiki is a template that you can use for any Professional Development or Training sessions that address the use of wikis in education. With Mark's permission, we are making it available to educational technologists who are looking for tools to show their teams what can be accomplished with wikis in general — and Wikispaces in particular — in the K–12 environment.
